Pakistan to Host OIC Trade Festival 2022
Faisalabad: Pakistan’s Ambassador to the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Rizwan Saeed Sheikh announced that Pakistan will host the first-ever OIC trade festival in 2022, news sources reported.

The trade festival will be attended by the majority of the organization’s members and will help promote the halal industry as well as explore new avenues of trade cooperation and investment between the member states.
This was stated by the ambassador during a meeting with the delegation representing the Faisalabad Chamber of Commerce & Industry (FCCI). The ambassador contended that halal products, including food, is a huge industry that has yyet to be investigated
A summit of the foreign ministers of Islamic nations is scheduled for March 2022 in order to devise a collective strategy to elevate the Muslim Ummah and foster unity among the member states, he added.

The ambassador also suggested that Engineer Hafiz Ihtasham Javed, President of the FCCI, provide tangible ideas and recommendations for these conferences so that Pakistan may take the lead in the overall advancement of Islamic nations.
