Auction of Manora Beach Resort finalized
According to a news source, the Manora Cantonment Board has successfully auctioned off Manora Beach Resort to a private company for five years at a price of PKR 11,100,000 a year.

The board has promoted the massive auction of its beach resort during the month of August in major media. This auction took place on September 8 and was won by Dreamworld, a hospitality company, on a monthly rental basis.
The monthly rent for Manora Beach Resort is PKR 925,000. The board has even shown a willingness to extend the arrangement provided it is effectively executed.

A representative of the authority disclosed that the Cantonment Board Manora and the successful bidder will formalise their agreement within a month.
Near the Varun Dev Mandir, the property has a ground-level plus two-story building with four convenience stores. In addition, there is a 1,562-square-foot open space at the beach view site. The resort will be renovated, decorated, and managed by Dreamworld over the next five years.
