Balochistan Introduces Online Tax System
The Government of Balochistan has developed an online tax collection system in Islamabad in an effort to increase provincial revenue and encourage tax culture.

During a meeting for the signing of a tripartite agreement for the construction of an online tax collecting system, the Finance Minister of Balochistan, Mir Zahoor Buledi, stated that the effort would not only benefit taxpayers in the province but it would also promote system transparency.
The finance department has implemented an online tax collecting system in accordance with the aim of Balochistan’s chief minister Jam Kamal to eliminate the budget deficit and provide services to the business community.
The provincial minister stated that the antiquated tax collecting system was being modernized so that citizens of Balochistan could pay their taxes from anywhere in the country.

Buledi referred to the implementation of the system as “historic” and stated that payout of taxes will now be feasible via internet banking, mobile banking, ATMs, simple paisa, and other modern means, while suspicion is eliminated.
