BoI to Pace Up Development Projects for Respective Ministries
Islamabad: According to multiple sources, on Thursday, Shaukat Tareen, the Federal Minister (FM) for Finance and Revenue, in addition to finalizing the discussion with Saudia Arabia’s potential investors, ordered the Board of Investment (BoI) to pay attention to the respective ministries’ development projects.

According to a news statement, the FM discussed this information with Chairman of the Board of Investment Azfar Ahsan and Pakistan’s Ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Ameer Khuram.
The meeting participants discussed potential opportunities in Pakistan for Saudi investors. Investors and the Saudi government are also keen on investing in Pakistan, according to the report.
They assert that there are huge investment opportunities at the government-to-government, government-to-business, and business-to-business levels between the two countries.
The Saudi business community was keen to do business with Pakistan, the FM was also informed. Moreover, investment opportunities exist in a range of economic sectors, they said, noting that the refinery, agriculture, information technology, and semiconductor manufacturing sectors are among the most popular.

The minister commended the Pakistan Embassy in Saudi Arabia’s efforts to serve as the government’s liaison and assured the Board of Investment and the Embassy of the Ministry of Finance’s unwavering support for their internal capacity-building activities.
