BOP, Akhuwat Sign MoU to Promote Low-Cost Housing
Lahore: According to a press release shared in the country report, Bank of Punjab (BOP) and Akhuwat Islamic Microfinance Institution (AIM) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to promote affordable housing under the government marking subsidy (G-MSS).

The signing ceremony of the Memorandum of Understanding took place at BOP headquarters in Gulberg and the contract was signed by BOP President, Zafar Masud, and AIM CEO, Dr. Muhammad Amjad Saqib.
Speaking at the ceremony, BOP President Masud said G-MSS (also known as Mera Pakistan, Mera Ghar Housing Finance Program) is a revolutionary step forward in the housing industry and he will help the bank extending financial support to the local level. . .
AIM’s CEO, Dr Ali, also took the opportunity to express his hope that, like all other government-funded programmes, BOP will be at the forefront of this worthy goal.

He also commended Prime Minister Imran Khan for launching affordable housing project for middle and low middle income segment in Pakistan.
