Islamabad: In honor of the Iranian President’s visit to Pakistan, the Pakistani government renames “11th Avenue” in Islamabad as “Iran Avenue.”
Renaming “11th Avenue” in Islamabad to “Iran Avenue” is another important step in strengthening and unifying the relationship between Iran and Pakistan.
After clearance, the Interior Ministry wrote to CDA representatives; a CDA representative attested that the orders to rename the highway were carried out after Iran had started.

On the other hand, Iranian President Dr. Syed Ibrahim Raisi and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif convened at the Prime Minister’s House to deliberate on improving bilateral ties, growing collaboration, and uniting efforts to counter-terrorism.
During the meeting between the Prime Minister of Pakistan and the Iranian President, both leaders expressed their best wishes to one another.
As the prime minister said, the people of Pakistan, including myself, extend our warmest greeting to you.
The president of Iran conveyed his appreciation for the friendly greetings given by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.
