CDA Creates Wing for Faisal Mosque, Plan Renovation
Announcement on joint collaboration of CDA and FWO for Flyover construction
ISLAMABAD, May 20, 2022- City Administration has decided to establish a separate wing solely for maintenance, repair, and upkeep of Faisal Mosque.

The chairman of the Central Development Authority, Amer Ali Ahmed, has ordered members to formulate a PC-1 for the complete and comprehensive renovation of the Faisal Mosque. No major renovations have been executed on the mosque in four decades.

In addition, Chairman Ahmed has ordered the Directorate of Municipal Administration not to issue a license or a contract for parking fees collection in order to make the place available to all visitors.
