CDA Favors Proposal for Construction of Two Small Dams
The city officials of Islamabad approved a proposal to construct two small dams and agreed that the F-9 Citizen Club building will serve as a conference and cultural centre.

The board of the Capital Development Authority (CDA), meeting with its chairman Amer Ali Ahmed in the chair, voted to construct small dams near Chiniot and Shahdhara.
It was also determined that funding for these dams would be sought from the federal government under the Public Sector Development Programme (PSDP).
Chiniot, located on the upper side of Simly Dam, falls under the jurisdiction of the Punjab government, according to a board member. It was determined that authorization for dam construction would be sought from the government.

When queried about the Covid-19 immunisation centre in the building, the representative stated that it will be relocated to the nearby environment office, which will be moved to the Shakarparian Art and Craft Village.
