FIA Records Statements of CDA Officials in ‘Bogus’ Plot Case
Islamabad: The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) recorded the statements of a number of Capital Development Authority (CDA) officials in a case involving fraudulent plot allocation.

In April of this year, the FIA filed a First Information Report (FIR) against ten CDA officials, accusing them of illegally allotting a plot in I-11.
The CDA’s security department is currently investigating a separate case of alleged fraudulent allotment involving seven plots in D-13 valued at millions of rupees.
According to sources, some of the named suspects in the FIR filed a lawsuit in court to have the FIR dismissed. To defend the case, the FIA recorded the CDA officials’ statements.

The FIA filed the FIR after concluding its investigation into one of seven alleged fraudulent plot allocation cases. The FIRs for the remaining six cases have not yet been filed.
According to a notice provided to Dawn by the FIA, 27 personnel were to appear before the investigating officer.
In response to the letter, CDA officials/agents appeared before the investigating officer and provided recorded statements.
