CDA Decided to Enforce Zoning Laws Against Housing
The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has resolved to strictly enforce the Zoning Regulations Act of 1992 of the Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) and guarantee private housing society developers comply with it.

Ayesha Town, Islamabad Cooperative Housing Scheme, Gulf Residencia, Royal City, Royal Residencia, Dreamland City, Babar Enclave, Ideal Residencia, Rawal Enclave, and Yar Muhammad Society were among the housing schemes whose offices were sealed in early October of the previous year.
Currently, two CDA divisions oversee the design and development of private housing projects in Islamabad. The Housing Department governs Zones II and V, whereas the Regional Planning Directorate governs Zone IV.

The federal capital was divided into five zones according to the ICT Zoning Regulations of 1992. According to the regulations, it was permissible to plan and develop housing complexes in Sector E-11 of Zones I, II, and V.
However, officials observed that in 2010, the civic agency updated the statute to include Zone-IV, which was further subdivided, and to include the Agro Farm Scheme in addition to other schemes.
