CDA Seals Illegal Buildings in Banigala, Kuri
The Capital Development Authority (CDA) said in Islamabad that it had sealed 15 commercial structures in Banigala and Kuri that were being developed without the agency’s authorization.

The enforcement division of the government agency also launched an operation in sector F-13 and demolished an illegal market. In a news statement outlining operations in the Bani Gala and Kuri areas, it was said that commercial structures were sealed due to illegal construction without CDA approval.
In sector F-13, the CDA’s enforcement arm dismantled an unlawful plaza with 30 stores and a new illegal market under construction using heavy gear, according to a news statement.

Additionally, four kanals of government-owned land were recovered. The sector F-13 was purchased in 2008, but the CDA has not yet compensated people to take full possession of the site.
