CDA to Hold Development Working Party Meeting on June 29
According to news sources, the 52nd Development Working Group meeting of the Capital Development Authority (CDA) would take place in Islamabad on June 29, 2021. The conference will be held at the CDA’s headquarters to discuss the historic mega development projects involving billions of rupees in the nation’s capital.

The following projects are expected to be discussed at the upcoming meeting:
- A 57 million rupee rainwater harvesting project that will be completed in two years.
- To alleviate the parking issues in various districts of Islamabad, PKR 4 billion would be allocated for the development of parking plazas.
- A 100-bed, PKR 186 million CDA hospital
- A one-year bridge development project on Kiyani Road in Bhara Kahu, costing PKR 185 million rupees, will be undertaken to resolve traffic difficulties.
- A PKR 1,168 million, 1.5-year project for the development of Sector D 12

- Changes to CDA regulations to promote tree cover and preserve precipitation

- A three-year, PKR 3,500,000,000 program to restore and beautify Margla Hills National Park.
