CDWP Approves Seven Development Projects Worth Rs. 22 Billion
During its meeting on Friday, the Central Development Working Party (CDWP), chaired by Federal Minister for Planning, Development, and Special Initiatives Ahsan Iqbal, authorised seven development projects totaling Rs. 22.16 billion.

Seven projects from the Ministries of Planning, Development & Special Initiatives, Maritime Affairs, National Health Services Regulations and Coordination, and Higher Education Commission were examined during the conference (HEC).

The Balochistan Urgent Response for Food Security Project, estimated to cost Rs. 1,100 million, the Gwadar Port Navigation Channel Maintenance Dredging, estimated to cost Rs. 4,669.762 million, and the Social Sector Accelerator for Health, Nutrition, Education, Youth and Gender, estimated to cost Rs. 4,825.05 million were all approved by the forum.

Additionally, the establishment of a partnership between the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation and the Government of Pakistan to address major health sector challenges, costing Rs. 220 million, the King Salman Bin Abdul Aziz Al Saud Hospital at Tarlai, Islamabad, costing Rs. 2,499.993 million, and a sanitary sewerage system with treatment, costing Rs. 3,860.355 million, were all approved by the forum.
