Warning on Cement Factories NOC If Project Timeline Not Follows
According to news sources, the Punjab government has decided that freshly issued no-objection certificates (NOCs) to establish cement plants in the province will be revoked if the cement manufacturers fail to launch their projects within six months of the date of issuance.

The causes of the delay in establishing new cement firms were examined during the conference. Due to environmental and other concerns, only a few manufacturers have begun working on the NOCs, the minister was informed.
In addition, it was stated that the government has ordered cement manufacturers to offer a timeframe for the project’s implementation within a week. The government expedited the issuance of NOCs in order to increase investment, encourage the construction industry, and provide employment opportunities.

It is important to note that new industries are being formed in the province due to the current government’s pro-industry policies. Ten NOCs have been issued thus far, and more will be issued following cabinet approval.
