Chairman RDA Reviews Progress of Ongoing Projects
Rawalpindi: According to media sources, the Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA) convened a meeting to examine the progress of ongoing development projects.

On this occasion, the chairman of the RDA asked the directorates to assist the public by raising knowledge of illegal housing schemes and the Building and Zoning Regulations of 2020. Moreover, he instructed all the authority’s staff to solve the city’s citizens’ problems with integrity.
The MP&TE division has been instructed to continue its operation against unlicensed and unlawful business activities and projects. In addition, Director of Estate Management Saima Younus provided an update on RDA’s empty Land, the verification and clearance of commercial and residential buildings, transfer cases involving RDA assets, and RIT Schemes.

In addition, Amir Rasheed, the chief engineer of the RDA, reviewed ongoing and finished projects. Also discussed at the conference was the ongoing building of three pedestrian bridges along Airport Road.
