China Offers to End Punjab’s Smog Problem

They talked about shared goals and the possibility to increase cooperation in a range of industries, with a focus on reducing pollution and the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) projects.
Mohsin Naqvi, the interim chief minister, praised the partnership between China and Pakistan as being strong and enduring while noting China’s successful initiatives to eliminate pollution using cutting-edge technology.

He emphasised that he wanted the Punjab administration to benefit from this knowledge and welcomed Chinese assistance in addressing the province’s smog issues, particularly in Lahore.
The Acting CM was informed by Zhao Shiren, the Chinese Consul General, of China’s commitment to continuing cooperation with the Punjab government across several fields as well as its offer of assistance in addressing the pollution issue.

He extended an invitation for the CM to visit China, and the Acting CM gladly accepted, expressing his deep affection for China and his desire to go there soon.
