‘China Pakistan Trade Online’ Platform Set Up to Boost Trade
According to published reports, the China Pakistan Trade Internet (CPTO) platform was launched in Islamabad to promote bilateral online trade and generate new prospects for entrepreneurs in both nations.
According to the information provided, China Pakistan Trade Online was launched in March of this year; however, merchants have not posted many products on the website due to the vast amount of products. Currently, CPTO focuses on F2B and B2B, but in the following phase, it will expand to F2C and B2C.
It is important to note that the Chamber of Commerce identified difficulties in bilateral trade. According to Li Hongwu, president of the Pakistan Sichuan Chamber of Commerce, both countries have insufficient product information.

An information-sharing platform similar to Taobao was developed to address these issues. It was also a payment mechanism, similar to Alipay, via which funds are delivered to the vendor once the client has approved the merchandise. The Chamber of Commerce thinks that this platform will facilitate business relations between nations.
