CM Formally Inaugurates Sheranwala Gate Flyover
According to news sources, Punjab Chief Minister (CM) Sardar Usman Bazdar lay the foundation stone for the Sheranwala Gate Flyover Project in Lahore. The project of PKR 4.90 billion was also formally called Hazrat Data Ganj Bakhsh, after the legendary Lahore Sufi saint.

Director General (DG) of the Lahore Development Authority Ahmad Aziz Tarar informed CM Buzdar that the Hazrat Data Ganj Baksh flyover is one kilometre long and can accommodate 130,000 vehicles per day.
According to the details, LDA has spent PKR 2 billion on the acquisition of 22 kanals of land, with savings of PKR 270 million anticipated through open bidding and tendering. Reportedly, the Sheranwala Gate Flyover project was revealed alongside the Gulab Devi Underpass and Shahkam Flyover projects in May of this year.

The flyover is anticipated to handle traffic from Circular Road, Masti Gate, Badami Bagh, Railway Station, and all adjacent city neighbourhoods.
By design, the project will extend from the vicinity of the Naulakha Police Station to Sheranwala Gate, Yaki Gate, and Delhi Gate, before terminating at Australia Chowk Railway Road. The flyover has an elevation point of 400 metres and is one of the city’s longest flyovers.
