CM Gives Support for Elevated Expressway
Usman Buzdar approved in principle the construction of an elevated motorway from Gulberg to motorway M2. To reach Babu Sabu, the motorway will traverse Canal Bank Road, Jail Road, Ferozepur Road, Multan Road, and Bund Road. Alongside, a bus passageway will also be constructed.

According to him, this 18-meter-long bus would be the most efficient mode of transportation, and the Lahore Mass Transit Authority would provide the most efficient travel services to 125,000 passengers daily.
The chief minister stated that the government had saved more than 2 billion rupees by contracting with VEDA. According to him, the previous contract was signed with a foreign company, whereas the current contract was signed with a Pakistani company in order to conserve foreign reserves and encourage the growth of local businesses.
The chief minister stated that enforcing the Punjab Vehicle Inspection and Certification System in 27 districts was crucial to combating road accidents and environmental degradation. He stated that these centres would be expanded to cover the entire province.
Thokar Niaz Beg will receive a modern bus terminal at a cost of Rs 3 billion. He stated that the government was committed to implementing a modern mass transit system in major cities in order to provide the public with the best transportation options.
