CM, SAPM Discuss Steps to Boost Agriculture Sector
Mahmood Khan, the chief minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, stated that the development of the agriculture sector was his government’s top goal in order to achieve self-sufficiency in agricultural products and create employment opportunities for the people.

During a conversation with Jamshed Iqbal Cheema, the Special Assistant to the Prime Minister for National Food Security and Research, he conveyed these thoughts.
Also present were provincial agricultural minister Muhibullah Khan and agriculture secretary Mohammad Israr.
In accordance with the Prime Minister’s Agriculture Emergency Programme, the meeting evaluated a number of actions undertaken to enhance the province’s agricultural industry.

In addition, the newly merged districts were the focus of discussions regarding the genetic improvement of livestock, olive tree planting, trout fish production, poverty alleviation intervention, water harvesting, dairy development, and the enhancement of agriculture products, including fruits, vegetables, and food grains.
