Construction of Maulana Shaukat Ali Signal-Free Road is Resumed
Lahore Development Authority has restarted work on the Maulana Shaukat Ali Road project, according to our sources (LDA). The corridor’s beginning is near Jinnah Hospital, while its ending is at Peco Road.

National Engineering Services Pakistan (NESPAK) has begun working on the design of the project, which is being supported by LDA funds. Additionally, the precast underpass technology will be implemented.
Authorities have launched talks with contractors, engineering firms, and construction professionals for this purpose. There will also be modifications to the suggested design. The Johar Marriage Hall Junctions and Jinnah Hospital will be redesigned. Additionally, the Ravi Restaurant Junction will be shuttered.

At Shauq Chowk, a full-height, one-way underpass will be constructed, and the road leading to Madre-Millat Chowk will also be redesigned. Chief Engineer (II) of the LDA, Mazhar Hussain, also remarked that this measure would lessen traffic congestion.
