Construction of M-14 Near Completion to Be Open for Traffic
Work on the Hakla-D I Khan Motorway (M-14), a key component of the China Pakistan Economic Corridor’s (CPEC) Western Route Alignment, was in full gear and will be completed within the next few of months.

A National Highway Authority official told APP on Monday that the about 290-kilometer-long project has been divided into five distinct packages and allocated to several construction companies.
The official stated that 82.5% of the fourth phase of the project, which begins in Tarap and finishes in Pindi Gheb, has been completed thus far. The project was granted to Limak-ZKB JV, whose work began in November 2016.
The NHA official stated that about 78 percent of the Pindi Gheb-Hakla motorway segment has been completed. This segment was given to M/s Limak-ZKB JV, and construction began in January 2017.

After the completion of this improved connection project, wide swaths of North Punjab, South KPK, and North West Balochistan would be opened to all types of commercial operations, resulting in a tremendous rise in the living standards of the entire region’s inhabitants.
