Construction Work of Squash Complex Starts
The efforts of the Minister for Sports and Youth Affairs in Punjab, Rai Taimoor Khan Bhatti, and the Director General of Sports in Punjab, Adnan Arshad Aulakh, have finally borne fruit, and construction of the Squash Complex in the Nishtar Park Sports Complex has recently begun.

Taimoor stated that Pakistan has produced various squash legends in the past, including Jahangir Khan, Jansher Khan, Azam Khan, Roshan Khan, and Qamar Zaman, among others. “Squash is quite popular among our kids, and we are eager to produce more world-class squash players in the future after this major project is completed,” he said.

He stated that bringing this megaproject back on track was not a simple task. “The completion cost will be Rs386 million,” he added.
In this state-of-the-art initiative, the Sports Board of Punjab would construct six courts, according to Arshad. In the squash complex, he said, all amenities of an international standard will be available.
