CPEC Authority Chairman Shares Investment, Projects’ Details
Islamabad: According to news reports, the chairman of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) Authority, Lt. Gen (retd) Asim Saleem Bajwa, stated that so far, USD 13 billion has been spent in Pakistan through CPEC, and that the sum will assist bring in further investment.

Amin Bajwa announced the forthcoming USD 12 billion investment while speaking to the media about his visit to the Challenge Textile Factory on the Lahore-Multan Road. In order to draw in more international investors, he added that the CPEC project includes a number of economic zones.
He also praised Challenge Group of China for establishing an industrial facility that adheres to international standards. The head of the authority also disclosed that the firm plans to establish a Challenge Fashion Export Park in the nation, which would create thousands of job possibilities.

Asim Bajwa also stated that the Chinese investors’ visa length will be increased to two years. Additionally, he said that Pakistan is going through an economic revolution that is bringing in more international investment through the CPEC, which would help keep the PKR stable versus the USD.
