Recently, Daraz hosted a panel discussion on women’s financial inclusion with two prestigious partners, HBL and Visa International. All three corporate titans emphasized the relevance of financial inclusion, its significance for women, as well as the financial and non-financial restrictions and obstacles Pakistani women face.

Recently, the topic of female financial inclusion has been in the spotlight, but Daraz, as a part of the ecosystem not only in Pakistan but also in South Asia, believed it was vital to discuss the financial inclusion of women and how it benefits the economy of the country.
This has impeded not only the ecological but also our economic development. In Pakistan, women make up 49.8% of the population, but just 7% of them have personal bank accounts. Thus, there is a substantial gap that must be filled.
