Development Work on Key Faisalabad Roads Started
Samundri Road and Jhang Road, which connect the district of Faisalabad with the neighboring tehsil, have commenced construction, according to news sources. The redevelopment and restoration of decaying Samundri Road has been proceeding for a month, and work has also begun on Jhang Road.

Engineer Hafiz Ihtisham Javed, president of the Faisalabad Chamber of Commerce and Industries (FCCI), was pleased with the start of work. He noted that the city of Faisalabad attracts tens of thousands of textile workers in search of job, and that the development of roadways would strengthen the city’s infrastructure, encourage further industries, and increase employment opportunities.
According to sources, the Provincial Development Working Group approved the rehabilitation of these highways in April 2021. (PDWP).

The government also approved the PKR 500 million construction of Satiana Road from By-Pass to Tandilianwala, the repair/improvement of roads from MC Limits to Faisalabad Ring Road, and the rehabilitation of Faisalabad-Jaranwala Road and Faisalabad-Satiana Road.
