DHA Bahawalpur Directs Dealers for Registering with FBR
Bahawalpur: The Defense Housing Authority (DHA) Bahawalpur administration issued directives for authorized dealers to register with the Federal Board of Revenue under the category of Designated Non-Financial Businesses and Professions (DNFBP). On December 21, the warning text was posted to the authority’s official Facebook page.

The authorities asked approved dealers to complete the registration process by December 3, according to a source detail. To continue trading in DHA Bahawalpur properties, the dealers must submit their certifications and registration receipt to the Land and Record branch of DHA Bahawalpur.

The letter encourages dealers to obtain certification as soon as possible in order to avoid any inconveniences, as they will be unable to transfer properties after January 1, 2022. This month, the FBR launched a nationwide campaign to recruit certain businesses and professions in order to meet FATF regulations.
