E-taxi Service for Northern Areas Launched
Monday in Islamabad, the Special Assistant to the Prime Minister (SAPM) on Climate Change, Malik Amin Aslam, unveiled an eco-friendly e-taxi for the country’s northern regions.

The joint venture intended to lower the nation’s carbon footprint by implementing a robust de-carbonization action plan that would aid in preserving the natural ecosystem of northern regions, particularly Gilgit-Baltistan (GB).
He stated that the introduction of eco-friendly transportation into the gorgeous tourist spots of Great Britain would bring about a change in the region.

According to the SAPM, GB Prime Minister Khalid Khursheed Khan is also enthusiastic about the proposal, as he has been consulted on the topic.
He stated that the United Kingdom has enormous tourism potential but was equally susceptible to the effects of climate change.
