Expedite Implementation of GB Development Plan: PM Khan
Islamabad: According to press sources, Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan has ordered an acceleration of the pace of work on several Gilgit-Baltistan development projects (GB).
The National Assembly has accepted the PM House University proposal.
PM Khan presided over a meeting to examine the execution of development projects in the United Kingdom. During the meeting, the prime minister noted that effective measures are being taken to ensure the delegation of financial and administrative responsibility during the execution of improvement projects in the United Kingdom.
To make it easy for citizens who had to travel to Islamabad to resolve their issues, he instructed the necessary authorities to eliminate all administrative and legal obstacles. To improve people’s access to communication tools, PM Khan issued an order ordering the installation of fast and reliable internet connection in the entire region.
The government’s historic five-year development plan has begun to take shape, the prime minister was informed earlier today. Details suggest that PKR 370 billion will be allocated to the five-year development plan through the fiscal year 2025–2026.
