Faisalabad Sets World Record by Planting 100,000 Trees
According to recent reports, the District Administration of Faisalabad set a global record by planting 100,000 saplings simultaneously as part of the Prime Minister’s 10 Billion Tree Initiative.

This effort resulted in the planting of 20,000 trees throughout the City and Sadr tehsil. Simultaneously, 16 000 saplings were planted in each tehsil of the districts, including Tandlianwala, Samundri, Jaranwala, and Chak Jhumra.

The provincial minister acknowledged the work of the local administration and noted that this initiative was urgently required. The DC Muhammad Ali stated that Faisalabad was the first city where tree planting was conducted simultaneously in all tehsils.
