FDA Unveils Master Plan for the City
Faisalabad: According to news sources, the master plan for Faisalabad, Pakistan’s third-largest city and industrial centre, was unveiled on Thursday, July 27, by FDA Director General (DG) Dr. Faisal Azim.

The idea was presented to the group of traders and the All Pakistan Textile Processing Mills Association during the director general’s meeting (APTPMA). Additionally, according to Dr. Faisal, the strategy is being developed with the demands of the nation’s developing industrial and commercial centre in mind. He also added that in response to the city’s expanding population, the FDA has planned a number of bridges, road systems, hospitals, educational facilities, community centres, and parks.

Additionally, he said that as part of the Naya Pakistan Housing Plan (NPHP), 2,000 homes would be constructed on government-owned property in FDA City and that a plan is in the works to that end.
According to the APTMA members, the FDA is working to develop the city, and in addition to providing thousands of people with job possibilities, the APTMA has also contributed to the projects. The FDA officials, various level members of the APTMA, and representatives of the trading organisation all attended the conference.
