The Federal Directorate of Education (FDE) has launched an online admission portal for the 2026-27 academic session, allowing students and parents to apply for institutions operating under the FDE through a centralized digital platform.
Officials said the new system has been introduced to simplify the admission process and make it more transparent for applicants. Through the portal, users can check real-time seat availability and view merit lists for different classes and schools.
The platform also allows applicants to search for institutions based on available facilities, including transport services, meal options, Early Childhood Education (ECE) centres, and morning or evening shifts.
Students can also find details regarding Matric Tech programmes offered at selected institutions, along with complete admission guidelines and relevant information.
According to the FDE, the online portal is designed to improve public access, reduce delays, and make admissions more convenient for families.
Officials added that the portal can be accessed through the official website and reflects the department’s broader efforts to use digital technology for better service delivery and wider access to education.
