Feasibility for Construction of Khwazakhela-Bisham Expressway
Peshawar: According to media sources, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister (CM) Mahmood Khan has requested the feasibility study for the 28-km Khwazakhela-Besham Expressway.

Speaking on the phone with Shaukat Yousafzai, the minister of labour and culture, CM stated that the expressway’s construction will proceed in accordance with the feasibility study. They talked about the plans for growth in the Shangla district and the issues those locals face.
Additionally, he mandated that the mobility issues of the people be taken into consideration when planning the feasibility report.

The CM also reaffirmed the importance of the initiative for the area’s sustainable development. He gave the go-ahead for the concerned authorities to start accepting bids for the bridge building on the Swat-Kalam highways as soon as practicable.
The CM continued by saying that the government intended to give young people job chances by boosting tourism in the area and raising the labourers’ minimum salary. He also provided information on government initiatives to bring less developed areas up to line with urban centres.
