Finance Minister Invites USA’s Business Community to Invest
Federal Minister of Finance and Revenue Shaukat Tarin reportedly extended an offer to American businesses and industrialists to invest in Pakistan’s Special Economic Zones in Islamabad (SEZs).
During a roundtable discussion organised by the United States Pakistan Business Council, he asserted that recent government actions are expanding business prospects through tax incentives (USPBC). Minister Tarin reaffirmed that through its pro-business policies, the government is fully committed to providing investors with all facilities.

In a separate meeting with the World Bank’s Vice President for the South Asian Region, Hartwig Schafer, he stated that the government is committed to implementing fundamental reforms and expanding safety nets to revive the economy.
According to the World Bank’s VC Hartwig, Pakistan has made significant strides toward economic recovery, and this momentum must be maintained.
