Four Pakistani motorcyclists have achieved a historic milestone by becoming the first known riders to reach the Arctic Circle on motorcycles registered in Pakistan.
The expedition was led by renowned adventure traveler Shiraz Sami, who completed the journey alongside his 19-year-old son and two fellow riders. The team traveled thousands of kilometers across multiple countries before arriving at Nordkapp (North Cape), Norway, one of the northernmost destinations in Europe accessible by road.
Sharing the achievement on social media, Sami said the riders crossed deserts, mountain ranges, international borders, and some of the world’s most challenging roads during the expedition.
“To the best of our knowledge, we are the first Pakistani riders to reach the Arctic Circle on Pakistan-registered motorcycles,” Sami said, describing the journey as a symbol of courage, determination, and perseverance.
He added that the expedition was about more than reaching a destination. Every challenge along the route tested the team and reinforced their belief that determination and resilience can overcome even the toughest obstacles.
The achievement marks a proud moment for Pakistan, with the team successfully carrying the national flag to one of the northernmost road-accessible points in the world.
