The premier also witnessed the signing of two memorandums of understanding with China for the implementation of development projects, including the implementation agreement for the construction of a desalination plant with a capacity of 1.2 million gallons per day to alleviate the drinking water shortage in Gwadar.
Other agreements included a Chinese subsidy for solar generators in South Balochistan and the establishment of a free zone and enterprises in North Gwadar.

Jam Kamal Khan, the chief minister of Balochistan, stated that the provincial government had been working with the CPEC Authority to fix the customs concerns. He brought attention to the issue with the relocation of inhabitants along the Eastbay and emphasised that attempts were being made to find a peaceful resolution.
A chemical fertiliser factory, the Gwadar animal vaccination factory, a lubricant factory, and the Gwadar Tissue Plant Laboratory were among the factories that were inaugurated on this occasion.
