Govt Announces Easy Loans for Start-Ups Skilled Scholarships
Islamabad: In order to combat unemployment in the nation, Prime Minister Imran Khan announced a PKR 100 billion fund for start-up loans and 170,000 skilled education scholarships under the Kamyab Jawan Program.

The prime minister stated in a televised statement that the government aims to encourage young self-reliance by offering scholarships and skill-development programmes. Of the 170,000 scholarships, 50,000 are reserved for candidates with advanced abilities like Big Data (BD) and Artificial Intelligence (AI).
PM Khan added that youngsters would be able to participate in the technology revolution thanks to six-month merit scholarships. The start-up loans would assist young people in starting their own firms, the PM further noted.

Imran Khan stated that start-ups, small and medium-sized enterprises, and jobs in the private sector are all feasible strategies for sustainable growth when tackling the issue of unemployment. He added that the growing pension load on the exchequer prevents the government from creating jobs in the public sector.
According to PM Imran Khan, the government intends to expand funding for youth-focused programmes in the future. Additionally, he believed that by participating in this initiative, the young people would be motivated to start their own businesses rather than apply for government positions.
