Government Committed to Timely Completion of Power Projects CPEC
Energy Minister Hammad Azhar of Islamabad stated that the government is committed to the timely completion of power projects under the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC).

During his speech at the ceremony for the 660 KV Matiari-Lahore High Power Transmission Line project in Islamabad, he stated that this transmission line would bring stability to the power sector.
The minister stated that the project will also provide aid to the Pakistani people.
According to him, CPEC will increase regional connectivity and create numerous employment opportunities in the country.
He added that Pakistan and China have a strong friendship and are cooperating in various sectors, including health, education, energy, commerce, and other CPEC-related projects.

On this occasion, Chinese Ambassador to Pakistan Nong Rong stated that CPEC will benefit all segments of Pakistani society.
He stated that stable power transmission is crucial for the growth of the industrial sector. He predicted that this project will be a turning point in the economic development.
