Government Favors Offer to Introduce eSports Initiative
Peshawar: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa state government has approved a proposal to launch an esports initiative to help develop and improve the skills of e-gamers in the state.

Prime Minister Mahmoud Khan, who also has a portfolio of sports and tourism ministers, approved the summaries submitted by relevant ministries, the official said.
According to documents available to relevant officials, the Directorate General of Sports and the Youth Department will cooperate on a proposal to establish or activate esports academies in ‘Jawan Markaz’ and sports stadiums across the state.

The proposal shows that esports has become an important industry globally as some of the best players in the world compete in different games and it is a sport with a large audience.
The proposal is clear that esports will persist and that people in the state need government support to develop and improve their skills in this field and that it will benefit not only them and the country, but also forex and income. said to have brought glory to The document suggests that in addition to national and local games regularly hosted by the sports department, esports competitions can also be held with the same parameters and prizes.
