Government Generates New Division and Districts in Balochistan
According to media sources, the Balochistan administration has formed two additional districts and a division in the province, bringing the total to seven divisions and thirty-five districts.

The provincial cabinet approved the partition of Zhob into two divisions, Zhob and Loralai, according to a notification issued by the Board of Revenue. Loralai division consists of Loralai, Duki, and Musakhail districts. In contrast, the Zhob division will consist of the districts of Zhob, Sherani, and Qila Saifullah.
In addition, by dividing the Qila Abdullah district, two new districts are created. Gulistan, Dobandi, and Qila Abdullah tehsils will comprise the district of Qila Abdullah. The new district of Chaman will consist of the tehsil Saddar Chaman and the city of Chaman.

Balochistan has decided to increase its participation with the federal government on development initiatives. Various themes, including the Public Sector Development Programme (PSDP) automation system and the Budget 2021-22, were discussed during the meeting.
According to Chief Minister Jam Kamal Khan Alyani, this is the first time that the PSDP has developed an automation system and a mobile application to track data regarding the schemes.
In addition, an agreement has been made with the Punjab government on the enhancement of Quetta.
