Government Issues License to Lakson Group’s Fly Jinnah Services
The federal government has given the regular public transport licence (Passenger & Cargo) to M/s Fly Jinnah Services (Privately Held) Limited, a venture of the well-known Lakson group.

M/s Fly Jinnah Services (Privately Owned) Limited, a Lakson group project, had requested the granting of an RPT licence (passenger & cargo). Subsequently, the cabinet, based on the summary of the Aviation division, approved the issuance of the licence to the company.
The Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority (PCAA) confirmed that the company had met all of the requirements outlined in the National Aviation Policy-2019 and applicable rules/regulations for the issuance of the licence.
PCAA has also revealed that the company intends to initially induct three aircraft (ideally Airbus A320) on a dry lease basis, increasing its fleet size to five by the end of the second year and six by the end of the fifth year of operations.

In addition, the Ministry of Interior has awarded the company the requisite security clearance as required by Article 4.3.6 of NAP-2019.
The Federal Government is the competent authority for the issuing of RPT License under rule 177 (1) of the Civil Aviation Rules 1994 of NAP-2019, and the Aviation Division supported the issuance of RPT License (passenger & cargo) to the airline.
