Government Received 3 Million Housing Units from Private Sectors
Islamabad: According to our sources, Asim Shaukat Ali, the spokesperson for the Naya Pakistan Housing & Development Authority (NAPHDA), announced on Wednesday, December 8, 2021, that the government acquired three million housing units from the private sector under the Naya Pakistan Housing Program (NPHP).
The purpose of the public-private collaboration is to expedite work.

The government will give the most reasonably priced low-cost housing complexes. In the near future, the Punjab Peri-urban housing project will also be launched. This project will have 3.5 marla of housing units with amenities.
To this end, the government has also provided land subsidies to certain businesses. The government also provides low-interest loans to those in need.

The government has established the NPHP project to provide middle-class families with affordable housing. In addition, the government has mandated that commercial banks provide loans to help customers purchase and construct homes.
