Government Restores “Mera Pakistan Mera Ghar” Loan Scheme

ISLAMABAD, August 03, 2022- The government of Pakistan has ordered to restore the ‘Mera Pakistan Mera Ghar’ loan scheme.

Previously, government had to stop this loan scheme due to insufficient finances in the national treasure. ‘Mera Pakistan Mera Ghar’ scheme may resume with a condition placed by the government. Loans will be disbursed for cases that have already received approval under the home finance program. This means that those who received official clearance will be given loans for the construction of their homes; but, fresh loan requests won’t be considered until further notice. The Finance Ministry gave the Finance Minister the go-ahead to take the appropriate actions to distribute loans for approved applications. On July 22, 2022, Miftah Ismail declared that the Mera Pakistan Mera Ghar program would resume. Housing loans will be provided to selected individuals; nevertheless, they come with the same repayment requirements.
