Govt to Consider Proposal to Impose More Tax on Rich People
Pakistan’s Finance Minister, Mr. Ishaq Dar, presided over a meeting of the Reforms and Resource Mobilisation Commission (RRMC) in the Finance Division, according to the most recent information. Ashfaq Tola, the chairman of the RRMC, delivered an interim report with recommendations and a list of tax changes that could be included in the future budget for 2023–24. The report also advocated raising taxes on the wealthy and providing aid to Pakistan’s impoverished.
