Grand Anti Encroachment Operation Up Next in Peshawar
According to news sources, the provincial government of Peshawar has decided to launch an anti-encroachment operation in the district the next week to ensure the successful implementation of the Peshawar Revitalization Plan.

The divisional commissioner was briefed on the actions taken to implement the Peshawar Revitalization Plan and instructed to expedite implementation efforts.
During the meeting, the Tehsil Municipal Administrations (TMAs) of all four towns and the traffic police were tasked with conducting a study and submitting a report within one week in order to launch an anti-encroachment campaign throughout the city.
According to the plan, Town-I was tasked with launching an anti-encroachment operation in the inner city, Town-II was tasked with launching a campaign on Charsadda Road, Town-III was tasked with launching an anti-encroachment campaign on University Road, and Town-IV was tasked with removing encroachments from Kohat Road.

Similarly, the PDA was instructed to remove illegal structures from Karkhano Market and Hayatabad. Also, PDA was instructed to survey all prohibited billboards and provide a report the following week.
University Road, Ring Road, G.T. Road, and other roadways would be planted as part of the first phase of the Peshawar Revitalization Plan, it was revealed in a report. Forests Department and PDA will collaborate on this project.
