The Punjab government is advancing its digital land administration reforms by integrating the Green Property Certificate with the Punjab Land Records Authority’s (PLRA) PLUS platform. The progress of the initiative was reviewed during an inspection of the Shalimar and Wagah Land Record Centres in Lahore by Deputy Commissioner Captain Muhammad Ali Ijaz (R). During the visit, officials evaluated the issuance process of Green Property Certificates and assessed the accuracy and efficiency of digital land record management. Staff were instructed to ensure strict compliance with record verification procedures and maintain the highest standards of data accuracy.
Authorities have directed technical teams to complete the integration of the Green Property Certificate system with the PLUS platform at the earliest. Once operational, the interconnected systems will enable seamless data sharing between government departments, reducing processing times for property registration and ownership transfers while improving overall service delivery.
