Groundwork of 17-Road Project in SITE Laid by Ministers
According to a recent handout, provincial ministers Syed Nasir Hussain Shah and Jam Ikramullah Dharejo have laid the foundation stone for the development of 17 roads in the SITE area at a cost of Rs 1,039.73 million.

PPP leaders including MNA Qadir Mandokhel, MPA Liaquat Askani, and former MPA Nadeem Bhutto, as well as Karachi Water and Sewerage Board managing director Assadullah Khan, were also present.
The minister stated that 17 roads totaling 25 kilometres will be constructed as part of the project, which also included two drains.
Mr. Dharejo stated that due to the federal government’s inefficiency and weak policies, industries had suffered greatly and unemployment had skyrocketed. He sought industrialists’ participation in Sindh government development programmes.

A committee consisting of two SITE Association members and two government representatives was formed to monitor the progress of the projects in the region.
He was pleased that one project had been completed and that the cornerstone of another project involving 17 roads had been placed.
