Gwadar Eastbay Expressway Expected to be Finalized Soon
According to news sources, the Gwadar Eastbay Expressway, a major road development project in Gwadar, is scheduled to open in October of this year.

The remaining phases of the project’s construction are anticipated to be completed by the end of this month. The project is a component of the USD 1.1 billion worth of China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) development projects currently underway in the coastal city.
In addition, the Pakistani government approved 168 million dollars for the completion of the six-lane Eastbay Expressway, which connects Gwadar Port with the Gwadar Free Trade Zone and Makran Coastal Highway.
The Economic Coordination Committee approved the project in 2015, and formal construction on the project began in 2017.

When finished, the road project will connect the Trade Free Zone to the network of National Highways and Motorways. The project is anticipated to enhance connectivity, commerce, industrialization, and the distribution network.
