Honor Challenges Lenovo Legion with Powerful New Gaming Laptop Lineup

Honor has introduced two new gaming laptops in China, the Win H9 Gaming Laptop 2026 and Win H7 Gaming Laptop 2026. Both models feature 16-inch displays, Intel processors, Nvidia RTX 50 series graphics cards, fast charging support, and the company’s latest Dongfeng cooling system.

The Win H9 is the premium option, while the Win H7 is designed for gamers looking for strong performance at a lower price.

Display and Design

Both laptops come with 16-inch IPS LCD displays featuring a 16:10 aspect ratio and 2560 x 1600 resolution.

The Win H9 offers a 300Hz refresh rate, 500 nits peak brightness, and 100% DCI-P3 color coverage. It also includes TÜV Rheinland-certified low blue light and flicker-free protection, along with a 3D anti-motion-sickness feature that Honor claims can reduce symptoms by up to 58%.

The Win H7 features a 180Hz refresh rate, 3ms response time, 500 nits brightness, and 100% sRGB color coverage. It also carries TÜV Rheinland eye comfort certifications.

The Win H9 chassis measures 26.8mm thick and weighs between 2.34kg and 2.38kg.

Performance and Graphics

The Win H9 can be configured with up to an Intel Core Ultra 9 290HX Plus processor featuring 24 cores, 24 threads, and clock speeds up to 5.5GHz. Buyers can also choose an Intel Core Ultra 7 251HX version.

Graphics options for the Win H9 go up to an Nvidia GeForce RTX 5070 Ti with 12GB GDDR7 memory and 140W power output. RTX 5070 and RTX 5060 variants are also available.

The Win H7 uses Intel’s Core i7-14650HX processor with 16 cores, 24 threads, and boost speeds up to 5.2GHz. It is paired with either Nvidia GeForce RTX 5060 or RTX 5070 graphics, supporting ray tracing, DLSS 4, and AI-enhanced acceleration.

Honor says its Gaming Turbo X technology on the Win H7 includes special power profiles such as Rampage Mode, delivering up to 205W combined CPU and GPU output.

Memory, Storage and Cooling

The Win H9 supports up to 32GB DDR5 RAM at 6400MT/s along with a 1TB PCIe SSD.

The Win H7 includes 16GB DDR5 RAM at 5600MT/s and a 1TB PCIe SSD.

Both laptops feature dual M.2 slots for future storage upgrades.

Cooling is managed through Honor’s Dongfeng Cooling Engine, which uses multiple fans and optimized airflow to reduce thermal throttling during extended gaming sessions.

Battery and Charging

The Win H9 includes a 92Wh battery rated for up to nine hours of office use and supports charging to 60% in 30 minutes.

The Win H7 packs an 80Wh battery and a 260W charger capable of reaching 70% charge in 30 minutes. It also supports 100W USB-C Power Delivery charging.

Connectivity Options

Both laptops include USB-C ports, multiple USB-A ports, HDMI 2.1, Ethernet, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.1, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

The Win H9 also adds Thunderbolt 4 support for faster data transfer and expanded connectivity.

Keyboard and Extra Features

Both devices feature full-size backlit keyboards with 1.5mm key travel, anti-ghosting support, and dedicated keys for switching performance modes.

The Win H9 further adds an RGB backlit keyboard, large touchpad, dual speakers with Nahimic audio, dual microphones, and a 1MP webcam.

Both gaming laptops ship with Windows 11 Home Edition.
