Huawei Phones Are Returning to Pakistan Soon
The good news is there for the lovers of Huawei users. Huawei will soon be again here in Pakistan with its smartphones after hiatus due to the coronavirus pandemic, according to company officials.
Chinese tech giant Huawei announced in their recent media event that the re-launch is expected at the end or beginning of 2024.

The news was announced in the ceremony to launch the company’s annual report for 2022.
It was broadcasted to many other countries, and Pakistan was also included.
The step to re-enter the Pakistani market comes amidst Huawei Chairman Eric Xu’s new remarks against US tech export restrictions on China.
Moreover, he announced in the press conference that US sanctions would lead to the rebirth of China’s chip industry.

Xu said, “I believe China’s semiconductor industry will not sit idly by but take efforts around self-strengthing and self-reliance.”
He added, “For Huawei, we will render our support to all such self-saving,self-strengthening, and self-efforts of the Chinese Semiconductor Industry.”
Semiconductors have been a significant point of contention in the US-China rivalry for tech dominance.

The company was expected to face tough competition but still aimed to regain its foothold in the market.
